Essential Retouching Techniques

Learn the retouching secrets of the pros that make any image jump off the page! Bert, will show you how to create and modify custom brush tips to tackle any retouching job, and how to create layer masks that will make every shot look exactly like you want it to!

Realistic Compositing
1:15 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.

Seamless compositing of multiple graphics is absolutely necessary to creating realistic images that your clients demand. Bert will share with you how to combine several images from different sources to look as if they were photographed together. No one will ever know it’s Photoshop but you. You’ll also learn how to adjust light sources, create reflections and shadows to achieve stunning realistic effects.

Your Creativity Unleashed – Type, Special Effects and 3D:
2:45 P.M. to 3:45 P.M.

We’re gonna dig deep into Photoshop’s special effects in this class! Type can be as important as the graphics you create and the photos you take, and in this class Bert teaches how to create perfect type for every occasion and creative design to “complete the story”. You’ll also learn how to take advantage of the new 3D functions in Photoshop CS5. After this class you’ll be able to turn type into amazing special effects that will have your clients saying, “WOW”!

The Final Touches
4:00 to 5:00 P.M.

Every project needs a final touch! And, this is where Bert really shows off his legendary skills. Bert shows you the power of little known and under used Photoshop CS5 filters. Bert will teach you how to distort shapes using the new Puppet Warp feature, completely change the mood and perception of an existing image by combining Photoshop filters, and much more.
